Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills Role: SQL Tuning Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 2-3 Months Face-to-Face DESCRIPTION: Client has a long series of about 400 SQL statements that takes about 11 hours to run. They need someone to come in and tune these SQL statements to get the load to run faster (ideally in the 2-3 hour range). Oracle is their database. Not really looking for an application developer. Not looking for a high-level ETL developer that works with tools such as Informatica. Looking for someone who can understand the execution and access paths implied by various SQL / TABLE structures in Oracle and adjust queries to run as efficiently as possible.
