Hi… Let me know if you have any consultant for the below position. *Duration:* 6 months Contract *Location:* NJ *Job Summary & Responsibilities* The Securities Lending Technology unit of the Equities Group is looking for a developer to work on a proprietary trading system that facilitates securities lending to cover client and firm short positions. The successful candidate will be involved in the full lifecycle of system development, enhancements and support activities. He or she will interact directly with business users and other technical teams for support, requirements gathering and final product delivery. The system the candidate would be working with is a distributed multi tiered system responsible for calculating securities lending charges for client and firm shorts in addition to client debit/credit interest charges. Gradually the candidate will also work in the new J2EE based platform being built to replace the existing systems in phases over the course of next year *Basic Qualifications* - Sybase Database Skills. The candidate should be proficient with SQL, able to write and analyze complex stored procedures and queries with multi-table joins and aggregate functions. The candidate should have experience with query optimization and be familiar with generating and analyzing query plans. Prior experience with Sybase is required; experience with UDB is a plus. - Unix Perl and scripting. The candidate should have extensive experience developing complex solutions based on and Perl scripting technologies. Familiarity with Autosys is a plus. - Core Java. The candidate should have solid understanding of core Java concepts and Design Patterns. - Distributed Systems using EJB and JMS. Understanding of the complete lifecycle of local and distributed transactions and resource enlistment strategies is a plus. - Testing Framework.
