*6 months* *Purpose of the job* · As Production Support Analyst, work closely with FX eCommerce Client Services team for Americas supporting external clients for US and Latam America and traders and sales. · Work with regional NY and offshore teams to provide Level 1 and Level 2 production support for FX eCommerce applications *TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE* · Experience in providing production support and monitoring for large-scaled global front-office trading applications · Solaris and Linux, and shell scripting knowledge · Java experience · SQL, (Sybase, Oracle) · Solid knowledge or working experience in any of the following: PERL, MQ, RV · Network knowledge · Market data systems, Websphere knowledge a plus *NON TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE* · Excellent communication skills is essential · Customer oriented personality · Confident with strong initiative · Strong reasoning and Analytical skills · Ability to work under pressure and with multiple tasks · Ability to liase effectively with infrastructure, application and project delivery teams · College degree *BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE* · Experience in FX · Financial Industry background *IDEAL EXPERIENCE* · FX eCommerce support team in a large Investment Bank, supporting a global FX business *ADDITIONAL INFORMATION* Focus · The ability to understand both IT and business perspectives, proposing practical and realistic solutions · Awareness of how to operate within a large global team · A flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities Relationships · Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to build and maintain global team relationships · Willingness to work independently and see problems through to completion *Thanks and Regards, * *Jaspal * 3290 E.
