Job Title: ORACLE SENIOR CONSULTANT
Location: Costa Mesa, California
**Duration: 3-6months*
Personal Qualifications
Seven + years experience installing, configuring, administering, tuning, and
troubleshooting Oracle EBusiness Suite in Windows, Unix and Linux
environments.
Deep knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite administration and database
administration.
Deep understanding of Oracle’s current product line; RDBMS, Middleware,
Application suite of products.
Strong DBA skills with Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g and 11g.
Experience integrating E-Business Suite with other applications is a plus.
Creative person who has developed innovative approaches to developing
solutions.
Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills a must.
Prior consulting experience is desired.
Committed to gaining exposure to multiple packages/applications while
further developing your career.
Proven skills as a team member on at least two or more full cycle
implementations, ability to mentor and manage junior team members.
Ability to support multiple projects environments simultaneously.
A Bachelors degree is required.
Ideal candidates will also have experience with three or more of the
following technologies:
Oracle RDBMS
o Oracle Installation
o Oracle 9i/10g/11g database
§ Database design; data modeling (logical design)
§ Database creation; Basic DBA skills (physical design)
§ Oracle Programming Skills (SQL, PL/SQL)
§ Understanding of tools to manipulate data
§ Backup and Recovery Principles
§ Performance Tuning
§ Knowledge of RAC a plus
· Oracle E-Business Technology
§ Oracle E-Business Installation Rel 11i/R12
Oracle E-Business Database Management
Oracle E-Business System Administration
§ Patching
§ Cloning
§ Performance Tuning Oracle e-Business
§ Troubleshooting Oracle e-Business
· Oracle Application server (OAS or Web Logic 10g/11g)
§ Portal
§ Enterprise Integration
§ Web Services
§ J2EE and web applications
§ Oracle Identity Management
§ Oracle SOA Suite
· Oracle Products and other
§ Deep knowledge of Unix and Windows Operating system.
§ Strong programming skills in Shell and batch scripting.
§ Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE 10g/11g, Discoverer, etc) a
plus
§ Oracle Supply Chain Products (Demantra, OTM, Agile, etc) a plus
