The first patch still does that, but since then there have been additional ideas incorporated. I think that it would make sense to create separate bugs for them. Then it would only leave us with the question of whether we include elision filtering in the default configuration or just document this as a possibility. Either way is fine for me since in Finland we'll need to customize the default config regardless. I'm not sure how to reach consensus on this.
