Needs a little digging. Test fails without this patch too.
And culprit is transferbook:
my $item = Koha::Items->find( { barcode => $barcode } );
If barcode is empty and you have items without barcode, things go wrong.
Solved it on bug 36212. Chose to not record as dependency.
