I'm not familiar with the area enough to be confident the code is in the right spot, if some edge cases were not considered, or if this should just be handled using the 'callbacks' (which I haven't seen in real life). I just know this fixes a real-life issue and looks like a sound solution (splitting a huge string into chunks without breaking words).
