Some libraries use the barcode column, or other columns as an indicator of the
status of an ordered item.
Since the move to the API the details table hides all empty columns, so if no
records have a barcode, the column is missing.
Rather than relying on a lack of display, the library would like to see the
column to know it is empty.
It should be possible to set a column as 'always displayed'
