Many libraries use self-reg to allow patrons to create provisional accounts
with limited permissions. These libraries prefer to make those account easy to
use, since there is very little risk of abuse. They would like the ability to
tell Koha to automatically generate passwords for these selfreg patrons that
are based on other values in the record (like the last four of the phone
number), rather than generated randomly.
