Currently, the OPAC search results toolbar only includes a visually hidden
(“sr-only”) label for the sort dropdown. This means screen readers can announce
it, but sighted users have no visible context for what the dropdown does —
especially when positioned beside pagination controls.
Adding a visible label such as “Sort results by:” above or alongside the
dropdown improves usability and accessibility for all users.
