The number of complaints I get because the self-registration isn't working due
to a Mandatory field value being silently dropped after a submit because of the
field also being in the Unwanted list is... non-zero. A shocking number really.
It can take a bit of work to determine which fields are in which list, although
the fix in the end is easy enough.
