No system preference changes required for the core sections; a few optional links (e.g. Self-service circulation (SIP2), Desks, EDI accounts) only appear when their respective preferences/permissions are enabled. 2. Log in to the staff interface, click "More" in the top navigation, then "Administration", then any non-System-preferences page (e.g. "Authorized values"). 3. Confirm the sidebar (System preferences, Basic parameters, Patrons and circulation, Accounting, Plugins, Jobs, Catalog, Acquisition parameters, Additional parameters) now shows an icon next to each link. 4.
