--- Comment #359 from Paul Derscheid <[email protected]> --- Created attachment 210444 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=210444&action=edit Bug 41129: (QA follow-up) Keep booking day boundaries correct across DST - toStartOfDayISO/toEndOfDayISO derived the boundary with dayjs.tz(...).startOf/endOf("day"), which the timezone plugin rounds through the browser's local time; around DST changes this lands on the wrong instant whenever the browser and library timezones differ - A booking starting on 7 November 2027 (US DST end) was saved as 6 November with a New York browser and a UTC library - Parse midnight and 23:59:59.999 directly in the library timezone Test plan: 1. Run: TZ=America/New_York yarn cypress run --component --spec t/cypress/component/lib/booking/dates-timezone_spec.ts 2. Confirm it passes; without this patch the DST tests fail 3. Edit item type 'BK', check 'Bookable', save: http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/admin/itemtypes.pl?op=add_form&itemtype=BK 4. In Chrome DevTools > Sensors, set 'Timezone ID' to 'America/New_York' (keep DevTools open) 5. On http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/detail.pl?biblionumber=1 click 'Place booking', select patron 'koha', pickup location 'Centerville', item type 'Books' 6. Book 7 November 2027 to 10 November 2027 7. Confirm the 'Bookings' tab shows it starting on 7 November 2027 Assisted-by: Opus 5.5 (Anthropic) Signed-off-by: Paul Derscheid <[email protected]> -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ Koha-bugs mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] website : http://www.koha-community.org/ git : http://git.koha-community.org/ bugs : http://bugs.koha-community.org/
