I don't really see an index suppress. I join to this email my record.abs
(if someone is better than me to find this mysterious thing :-)).
The most mysterious thing for me is that a few weeks ago, the search in
opacd worked when i've upgraded to koha 3.12.

In this case, there must be an index Suppress defined on a subfield in
marc_defs/unimarc/biblio/record.abs.
If no biblio has a value for this subfield, the search in OPAC will
never work.
Try to set this syspref off.
