Good point, I'll see what I can come up with. > * This doesn't remove the opac-nav for me. Does it require another patch > to do so ? I must have left it out. I probably had an empty OpacNav and didn't realize it. > I also don't like the idea of having the opac-nav disappear in some > pages. I'm a big fan of the 'habitability' tenet. Agree in principle, but I think we break this rule when necessary: Facets override OpacNav, for instance. OpacNav is hidden on the log in page and the holds page. We often eliminate OpacNav for actions which have more "focus," where the page is centered on a specific task. While the detail page doesn't match this profile as well as logging in or placing a hold I feel we can bend the rules for this case because of the disadvantages of having a broken layout. I'm not comfortable with creating a collapsing navigation menu because it introduces a new interface option that is outside of most users expectations. I'd rather have them click the back button or home link to find OpacNav rather then expect them to collapse the navigation if they discover the page layout is broken. -- Owen -- Web Developer Athens County Public Libraries http://www.myacpl.org _______________________________________________ Koha-patches mailing list [email protected] http://lists.koha.org/mailman/listinfo/koha-patches
