Got to learn that the root access to server is required only for *"Installation"* of Koha ILS. Refer "To install Koha for immediate....": http://koha-community.org/download-koha/
So, is it possible to sign up for a VPS plan with a hosting company and install + configure the Koha software using the root access then fall back to the shared hosting plan so that we can save some money? Just a naive thought, please suggest on this. -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Koha-3-10-hosting-in-a-shared-webhosting-environment-tp5747993p5784774.html Sent from the Koha-general mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.org Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz http://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha
