Hi, Elaine (& all)-- Well, *all* our records are in the default framework!:) It's just simpler to manage, since I import all new records from OCLC via the gateway export into that one framework, and when I need to make fields visible it's just easier to edit the default framework and have it work on all the records. (A few times a year I have to make fields visible to edit since Koha seems to come with a lot of commonly used fields hidden, I guess to make it simpler for folks who are not so familiar with MARC.)
I'm *so* eager to try to the new cataloging interface, though, for record editing (I hope it does editing!) but I would still use one framework for all records--managing all those different frameworks doesn't really make sense to me. But, of course, I'm coming from an OCLC workflow perspective (i.e., one MARC21 record--picking different flavors of it in Connexion just causes different default fields to display, not to store a record in a whole different framework.) We'll manage, though, with the new "lost" workflow, I'm sure--we always do!
