Hi Daniel, when creating new items the itemcallnumber system preference can be used to suggest a call number from the bibliographic record that can be changed/overwritten by the library. There is currently no other relationship between the callnumber information in the record and the item that I can think of and no automatism to automatically update it after the item has been saved.
Hope this helps, Katrin Am 23.03.2016 um 22:38 schrieb Hernandez, Heather: > Hi, Daniel-- > > Although it's common for others systems to be able to copy LC call number > information from a bib record 050 or 090 field for display, even pull or > copy from those bib fields into item records, Koha doesn't do that, and the > displayed call number is from the item record (stored in a 952 field, > subfield o, i.e., letter "o").
