We were just bitten by this bug:

We have now entered dummy credentials in koha-conf.xml and are back online.
But with the feeling that it's strange to be required to put never-used
"dummy" credentials in our config file to achieve the configured
behaviour. (auth_by_bind is 1)
Are there plans to revert this commit?
