i'm assuming you are running deb10/buster
try the following 2 commands...
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo install koha-common

When I ran the aptitude -o command, it pulled up a Lynx-style character
graphics windowing system that looked somewhat complex.
If I should be using the windowing system, how can I fix missing dependencies?
