Haha, I hadn't thought to load the DB directly. Just seeing this was enough I'm now feeding student and faculty photos to koha from our ID system automatically via powershell script. We use a discovery service, rather than the OPAC, for searching, so most students never see their account. But at least the circulation desk will see a matching photo when scanning the ID cards.
