Seminar on organic farming held The Asian Production Association and the General Department for Standards and Measurement held a seminar to find solutions for green production and organic farming. The programme was started in villages in Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province in July 1998 and in villages Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City, in June 1999 with good results. Farmers in these villages actively participated in the programme. They used naturally available substances in their agriculture production and achieved high yield.
