We congratulate the Moldovan Communists for this remarkable achievement. Moldova is a former republic under the Soviet Union. It is now a parliamentary republic. These election results follow the pauperisation and impoverisation of Moldova after capitalist restoration since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. In the last decade, the formerly prosperous Moldova became the second poorest of the former Soviet Union republics and over 20+ACU- of its population has become migrant workers.
