It goes on: During the Clinton administration, the DPRK had multi-channelled dialogues with the United States, published a joint communique and assured the U.S. that it would declare moratorium on missile test fire during the time when the missile talks were under way. This has officially confirmed and proved the non-existence of "missile threat" from the DPRK. However, the new U.S. administration suspended the dialogue with the DPRK, which had been held during the previous administration. And it is intensifying the hostile policy toward the DPRK, while pulling it up over "missile threat". The U.S. ruling circles' moves can never be justified in stepping up the development and establishment of the aggressive "nmd" on the pretext of the "missile threat" from the DPRK. Their moves are chiefly aimed to form a strong missile network to increase their forestalling attack capacities, completely contain china and Russia by force of arms and establish their military domination over Asia. Keith Bennett, chairman of the British-Korean friendship and solidarity movement, was elected chairman of the committee. The committee decided to hold multifarious political and cultural events such as a meeting for remembering the president, a book and photo exhibition and film show on this occasion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Togolese President on relations with DPRK Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- I came to deeply feel through my visit to the DPRK that the greatness of a nation does not depend on the size of territory but the greatness of its leader. President Kim Il Sung was, indeed, a great man of the world and the feats he performed in human history will shine forever. Togolese President Gnassingbe Eyadema said this on March 7 when he received credentials from the new DPRK ambassador e.p. He further said: Leader Kim Jong Il is now creditably carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Kim Il Sung. I believe that the Korean people will surely overcome any more serious trials than those in the period of "arduous march" as they are led by him. Eyadema sincerely hoped that the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea would be achieved by federation formula at an early date under the leadership of Kim Jong Il. The organization in a statement released at a meeting attended by over 60 victims and bereaved families demanded the U.S. "rectify its insincere attitude and wrong measure taken to settle the case." It denounced the "report of the U.S. side on the probe into the Rogun-ri incident for charging that civilians in Rogun-ri were killed while disobeying U.S. troops' control. Korea Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- At least 10,000 unionists under the South Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and students simultaneously turned out in a struggle to protect the right to existence in 9 cities including Seoul, Pusan and Kwangju on March 17, according to Seoul-based radio no.1. Over 3,000 unionists and students held a rally to vow to protect the right to existence in Seoul. They demanded the "government" authorities withdraw the wrong measure to sell out the Dae Woo Motor Company and "layoff" plan and guarantee workers the right to existence. At the end of the rally, they staged a demonstration, clashing with more than 5,000-strong riot police. Over 4,000 workers and students in the areas of Pusan, Ulsan and north and south Kyongsang provinces at a Kyongsang provincial workers' rally denounced the authorities for hurling police force into the Dae Woo Motor Company. Its predecessor the Pyongyang Acrobatic School was established in June Juche 61 (1972) and was renamed the Pyongyang Acrobatic Institute in September Juche 81 (1992). Gifted children aged 7-8 selected from across the country are admitted to the institute for education in general subjects and systematic training in acrobatics. They graduate from the institute at the age of 16-17 when they are qualified enough to complete their acrobatic pieces to be staged. The institute has two acrobatic training chairs, a chair for general subjects, a scientific research room and others. Graduates from the institute are active as creators and acrobats at the Pyongyang Circus and the Moranbong Circus. They received golden prizes and medals at international circus festivals including the fifth Louis Merlin International Circus Festival, the eighth, ninth world acrobatic championships and the tenth, eleventh Monaco international circus festivals. " con la intransigencia a la intransigencia ", esta fue la voluntad del ejercito y pueblo de corea. posteriormente ee.uu. no pudo evitar fracaso en sus reiteradas maquinaciones de aplastamiento militar contra la rpdc. ahora, ee.uu., pese a estas lecciones historicas, toma el camino del enfrentamiento frontal con la rpdc. pero el pueblo coreano no se asusta. los imperialistas norteamericanos deben evaluar correctamente a su rival antes de arrojarse a este. hoy corea tiene fuerzas mas poderosas que antes. el pueblo y el ejercito de corea cuentan con la direccion del gran general kim jong il, genial e invencible comandante simpar, dispuesto de la ferrea voluntad, audacia y destacada inteligencia. por eso podemos derrotar a cualesquier enemigos poderosos. los imperialistas norteamericanos deben enfriar su cabeza calentada por la locura de guerra y evaluar correctamente a su rival. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ hay que lograr cooperacion entre coreanos pyongyang, 19 de enero (atcc) -- el diario "rodong simun" en el numero de hoy inserto un articulo individual senalando que la nacion coreana debe tomar el principio de la independencia nacional por el principio fundamental para el logro de la reunificacion y mantener la posicion de cooperar no con las fuerzas foraneas sino entre los compatriotas. el articulo continua: la declaracion conjunta norte-sur del 15 de junio es la bandera comun de la nacion que todos los coreanos deben enarbolar para la reunificacion de la patria, porque ella constituye una declaracion de independencia, reunificacion pacifica y gran unidad nacional basada en los tres principios por la reunificacion de la patria y un jalon para esta causa suprema nacional. se lograra sin duda alguna la reunificacion de la patria cuando se ejecute estrictamente dicha declaracion que exige solucionar de manera independiente el problema de reunificacion del pais con las fuerzas propias de los coreanos que son duenos de esta causa nacional. hoy la actitud sobre la declaracion conjunta norte-sur es la actitud sobre el problema de la reunificacion de la patria y la norma que distingue el patriotismo de la traicion a la patria. todas las personas quienes aspiran a la reunificacion no deben vacilar ni eludir ni obstaculizar la labor de apoyarla y ejecutarla. para ejecutar cabalmente dicha declaracion son importantes la responsabilidad y el papel de las autoridades y politicos. estos deben ser mas firme que nadie en el espiritu de la independecia nacional. no deben apoyarse en las fuerzas foraneas sino en las fuerzas propias de la nacion. deben lograr la cooperacion no con las fuerzas foraneas sino entre los compatriotas. no deben perseguir, so pretexto de "seguridad", la cooperacion militar con las fuerzas foraneas contra la misma nacion. toda la nacion coreana es el sujeto de la solucion del problema de la reunificacion de la patria y las masas populares de distintos sectores del norte y el sur son encargados del movimiento de esta gran empresa nacional. todos los coreanos, sin distinguir el norte del sur, las autoridades de los civiles y las fuerzas en poder de las de oposicion, deben ser duenos en la ejecucion de la historica declaracion conjunta norte-sur del 15 de junio. _________________________________________________ KOMINFORM P.O.
