Subject: NATO To Hold Military Exercises Off Slovenian Coast

[NATO Turkish troops will surely be appreciated by the
locals, as they no doubt are in Macedonia currently.
Perhaps they will include military personnel fresh
from insuring multiethnic harmony in Turkish Kurdistan
or some who have just returned from Turkey's latest,
week-long, invasion of Northern Iraq, protecting
national integrity and the rule of international law.
And we all know what vital interests Baltic nation
 Lithuania has in the Adriatic.
Again, to refresh our memories: Numerous polls have
been conducted in Slovenia itself demonstrating
 widespread opposition to NATO membership.
Another purpose of the scheduled NATO exercise is, I'm
 sure, to foster democracy.]
