Dear Andrew,

You are quite right, securing popular control of the new
management is the decisive
task.

Fortunately this project in combination with the Internet
affords an unprecedented
opportunity to establish a quite new global type of direct
participatory democracy as
outlined in the following:

To start with - as the negotiation with the shareholders
cannot be carried out by all 6
billion people of the world - a working group for this
purpose has to be elected for
each targeted corporation.

The candidates to the working group of say 100 members are
nominated by
grassroot movements with long records of unambiguous
fighting the corporations.

The nationalities of the candidates should tend to reflect
proportionality with regard
to the sizes of populations of their respective continents.

The subscribers to the [EMAIL PROTECTED]
list elect the
working group members from each continent by means of the
poll function of the
list.

The election term is two years without any allowance for
re-election.

After the corporation has been taken over, the working group
after consulting the
employees of the corporation decide which individuals of
the management of the
corporation are to continue, and who are to be replaced.

Everybody via the list can participate in the administration
of the corporation that
has been taken over.

Each year the (partly new) management of the corporation
will present a few
alternative budget proposals.

After discussion and amendments of the alternatives, the
majority of the subscribers
to the list select the alternative to be carried out.

The accounts are continuously being published on the
Internet.

Via the list an ongoing discussion with the working group
takes place, proposals set
forth, etc.

All kinds of control functions are established.

be reformed. It must be eliminated by transfer of the
economic and political power
from the corporations, their mass media monopoly and their
