Peace activists have established a peace camp in the grounds of the
Imperial War Museum south London. Nearest tube is Lambeth North. Go and
support them!!
Take them food and supplies. Camp will be there until
the saturday "Dont Attack Iraq" march.

currently, The peace camp at the Imperial museum is entering its second
night. discussions with the police have successful. The peace camp is not
of concern to the metropolitian police at the moment and have stated that
the camp is a civil matter between the organizers and Lambeth Council. So
long as no loud music is played nor the inhabitiants of the area
obstructed, we shouldn't have any problems.
That said, we need
people with tents and sleeping bags to join us in a peace vigil next to
the imperial war museum. this vigil will run until saturday when the camp
will be disbanded and everyone joins the demo.
We should have a
generator working by the afternoon and indymedia will be arriving. We are
asking all people, regardless of faith who want world peace, to join
us. |
