The Standard combo box does nothing, and its changes don't affect video in any
way. It's being addressed in the latest development version, but have in mind
it only affects video capture devices that handle analog video sources, as CCTV
/ TV cards.
Webcams don't have standards to begin with, cause they don't have to handle
standard-coded analog signals, so this issue is irrelevant to webcams.
Please check with latest versions (3.5.8 and later) if this bug still applies,
and report if positive or negative. In case of positive, please add more
information, as
Webcam manufacturer and model;
If an USB device, USB's vendor ID and device ID;
Kernel module used to communicate with the webcam;
Debug info from Kopete's console output.
If not reported back in two weeks I'll close the bug as WORKSFORME, as I'm
unable to reproduce the bug with any of the devices I currently use to test
Kopete. Please report back asap so we can handle this bug the best way we can.
