After some more testing I think I found a way to reproduce this crash:
1) Connect to a MSN network
2) Delete a (MSN) contact from your contact list
3) Add the same contact back to your contact list
4) See kopete crash with the backtrace below (that is slightly different to the
first one I posted, but I guess they refer to the same problem)
