I have tested the same case with kopete version 0.12.7 that came with kde 3.5.9
gentoo packages. Not sure about MSN Plugin's version.
Enabling and disabling manually set proxy(which does not work at the moment)
toggles my ability to connect to msn.
Msn icon flaps wings then stops without any warning. There should be a
connection error message displayed.
