Greetings,

I'm developing a small whiteboard project called "Graffiti" in Qt/C++. (see
http://graffiti.sourceforge.net/)
It was intended to be integrated in my small LAN messenger project IceCuBe (
http://icecubemsg.sourceforge.net/), but I was suggested to integrated it in
other apps as well. I recently had a chat with Tejas and he suggested me to
post my proposal to Kopete mailing list.

So, I would like to work on "Graffiti" whiteboard plugin for KDE apps. It
would be really nice to have a whiteboard for KDE apps such as Kopete,
KDE-PIM suite like Kontact etc.
The plugin will satisfy at least these two posts :
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81460
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79911

I have implemented an XML based whiteboard which is protocol independent.
Hence, it can be integrated into Kopete for Bonjour(LAN) and Jabber.
Actually, I was suggested by Pradeepto (Asia KDE Contact Person), during a
recent talk at our campus, to take my project to Kopete. So I would like to
start with Kopete.

Currently, I have ported the application for Linux(Fedora), Mac OS X,
Windows XP but uploaded only the Mac OS X binary and source code. Currently
I have the prototype implemented in my LAN Messenger project-IceCuBe. Please
find yourself the source code and binaries on sourceforge website. (
http://graffiti.sourceforge.net/)

I also intend to do this project for Google Summer of Code 2009. Therefore,
would like to start working on the whiteboard plugin for Kopete and KDE apps
in general and would love to hear from the developers.

Looking forward to your help.
