Oh, how I love computers .... as an experiment I copied my kopeterc from home (which works) to work and fired up Kopete. It came up but showed everybody off-line and wouldn't connect, so I replaced ..rc with ..rc.orig and restarted kopete. This time I got a message that gmail, ?the cert couldn't be auth'ed???? Continue? - Sure. And now .... I'm all lit-up and not blink'n. <sigh>
