Hi Giovanni,
your plugin must extend the class DrawPolygonTool and override the
methods #gestureFinished for any new actions you want to take effect.
This method is called after the user finished editing the new polygon.
Also you must override the method #create.
Take a look at this previous thread at the mailing list, it is about
extending DrawPointTool.
