Of course the firewall would let it through. If the firewall can somehow
determine the contents of the SSL stream the SSL is not doing its job
in protecting the privacy of your communication. The only possible
exception being traffic analysis ("Hmm, these very small and relatively
slow bursts of traffic coming in look like they are just the same speed
as a person typing on a keyboard and the much faster larger stream going
back looks about the right size for a screenful of text...") but I am
not aware of any firewalls that do this sort of thing.
