Didn't have as in Congress never passed a law, right? Because <sigh> there'll be a bipartisan rush to push it through.

Yeah, those "activist" judges the WH keeps complaining about said the FCC doesn't have the mandate to dictate design to devices that receive communications over the public airwaves. They are only have a mandate to control the airwaves themselves.


I read on the /. referenced article that Congress might wait and see what happens with the Grokster case, and roll adjustments up into one big "anti-fair-use" bill, rather than 2 (or more) little ones
