I use blackbox and gkrellm. My wife had an easier time with that set up
than KDE, when I had to get her to find something. The problem with KDE
was it was configured as an imitation of Windows. Blackbox gave her
something new to look at, and thus she accepted it was something
different. She adapted quickly. Keep in mind, that my wife didn't use
computers beyond the green screens at NMCSD to make notes on patients.
