I swear this is not just me taking the opportunity to show off that I have a machine that has been up so long, but I am just curious. Has the "bug" of the uptime returning to zero been fixed ? I am currently at 425 days for one of my machines, and I am preparing to rebuilt it with a new OS. It won't likely make it to the roll-over if it has not been fixed. I plan to rebuild this week. But I am curious if uptime can now go to 498 days and beyond.
I believe the limit is something like 497 days, 2 hours, 27 minutes and 53 seconds. I don't think it's fixed in my kernel (2.4.x), but is it in 2.6 ? -- ************************************************************ Michael J.
