Work "gave" me a windoze laptop so's I can work from home (apparently 40
hours ain't enough ;). I want to dual boot the sucker so I can get some
real work done.

No sweat except I'm told fips is passe. What do we use today to
repartition a windoze box nondestructively?

If you get a Knoppix CD then you have instant dual boot! But to answer
your question, QtPartEd is likely the answer. It's on your Knoppix disk, of
course. I did an XP box with it. Due to some reading, I used the command
line "insides" piece ntfsresize so I could test it, then watch it. Then finish
the job using the GUI. But it may work fine just from the GUI. Presumably
someone else can say.
