Oh man! That's almost exactly what I was imagining. In my mind I could
picture a washtub (over-)full of loose cards, and a bunch of people
(preferably wearing red polka-dot bandanas) standing around with their
arms up to the elbows scrounging around in the tub. I thought it was too
hilarious an idea to be realistic.

Ha! I was right on!
