Does anyone know why I can't see the Documents and Settings folder on my friend's Windows disk when I use Knoppix to look at her hard drive?
Windows seems to think there are two partitions on the disk: C: 142GB and D: 6.06 GB C is labeled HP_PAVILLION, D is HP_RECOVERY Knoppix and fdisk -l under Knoppix see only one partition of type "Unknown" for the entire disk. You can poke around a bit and it looks like the might be the D disk. It looks like HP must be using a disk/partition format that Knoppix doesn't understand. Any ideas?
