My daughter's school could use some of the computers. At present, there are four computers in her classroom for students to use. The "best" is a 500 MHz PIII. I installed Xubuntu on it, and the kiddies get to browse the internet with Firefox and do word processing with OpenOffice. I'd do something similar with some more machines, if we could get them.
I'm also starting work on an open-source educational project, and whatever they have at my daughters school will be the initial test site. But, that's another story.
