"Regular expressions" just means that it's text that matches patterns
and specifies things to do with the patterns.  There are different
regex languages and none are really The One, though there are
conventions.  I like the "vi Editor Pocket Reference".  There are also
tons of "vi cheat sheets" out there.  Gentoo has a decent one, and
it's print friendly.

They should consider setting up something like man or info in html.)
