Ya'll have fun. I'll have no part in anything sponsored by M$.
Stewart - I have a feeling you are just standing on a soapbox, which you are welcome to continue to do. However, I wanted to drop my 2 cents in and mention that I actually try pretty hard to get a diverse group of sponsors. Some open source (Groudwork Open Source and LAMP Host), some commercial (MS and Adobe), some local, some not, etc. Last year the Groundwork Open Source guys were at a table right next to the MS table, which made for some interesting chatter. This is definitely not a "corporate" event and the sponsor presence is very low key. They help pay for the event and in exchange get some publicity and goodwill from the community. The event is actually run by me, and the SDCFUG, not by the sponsors. At any rate, I don't really expect to change your mind, but I did want to drop in and say my two bits. -Cameron -- Cameron Childress Sumo Consulting Inc http://www.sumoc.com --- cell: 678.637.5072 aim: cameroncf email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
