Are you sure the forcedeth is right?
I had an MSI mobo that went through a factory warranty replacement and
in the process I had to switch the driver from forcedeth to sky2.

I also have an Asus (but it's A8V-E SE), and it uses sky2.

The i'net also shows forum messages about using SK98LIN drivers which I
know nothing about.
