The San Diego based Kernel Panic Linux Users Group has a very knowledgable, free-wheeling, mostly unmonitored mailing list that is a trove of help and information. They also have a newbie list that the gurus watch and respond to. The list can be high traffic, but doesn't approach myth-users in volume (presently my biggest input). KPLUG has regular contributors from all over the world. Even Kansas ;-) All their mailing lists may be joined through their web site: http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo About the only list rule (unwritten in this case) is don't snap at the people trying to help you. But you don't appear to have a chip on your shoulder, and the people who do ... well, it's probably too late to help them with that. -- Lan Barnes SCM Analyst Linux Guy Tcl/Tk Enthusiast Biodiesel Brewer -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
