What would be the system/desktop, speed/difference experience between what I have now:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 Mobile CPU 1.80GHz, 768MB RAM
(Where I run FC6 as the VMWare host and one WinDoze VMWare guest session)

As compared to a XEN-alized:
1.80GHz Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-56, 2GB DDR2
(Where I would want to run as many as 2 Linux instances and at least one WinDoze instance)

Seems like it would be roughly the same.

I ask because I'm not sure what the real world differential will be. Currently I have VMWare Server v1.0.x and the system can (seriously) bog down with a couple BigFatApps running in addition to VMWare.

It is most likely bogging down because of swapping, right? In which case whether your are virtualized or not makes little difference.

So the increase in RAM would be a bigger factor that the increase to 2 virtual CPU's and the lower overhead of XEN?
