Thanks, but I can't use it, not in FC7 anyway. (I've lost a lot of
functionality from FC4 to FC7.) If I add *any* secondary keyboard
layout, my right hand [Alt] key will *not* work...
I thought you said that reseting something to default fixed that
problem? I must have misunderstood.
That *is* what I said, sort of. I clicked the button:
[Reset to defaults]
which erased all but the original layout along with changing all the
settings back.

letters, I'll make a file with the characters I need and just do cut and
paste. A real PITA, but less than not having my right [Alt] key.
(I'm unaware of "Third Level" stuff anyway.)
The key legends on the layout view have up to 4 symbols, right?
Left pair are X and Shift-X, right pair are 3lm-X and 3lm-Shift-X,
where 3lm is the 'third level modifier' key. Works for me.
It makes sense. And I figured there had to be a way to get to the other
characters on the keys.
