If the speed of the edge network was improved or a Wimax version of the Iphone 
then I would get one. I could possibly overlook the proprietary nature of the 
Iphone.

The Apple iPhone is mostly for Apple fan-people. If you love Apple, if
you love the Mac OS X interface, then the iPhone is for you.

Otherwise, probably best to skip it. I am happy with my Samsung phone.
It does what it needs to best: makes and receives phone calls.
