One of other big problems with the Iphone is that the Safari browser does not support Flash or Java. I am not a fan of Flash, but it has become quite prevalent on the web. These limitations render the Iphone useless as a productivity tool for business. But then again Apple has been primarily a graphics and consumer oriented.

Most of the cool stuff that won't drain your battery dead in 28 seconds could easily be done over a 1200 baud modem. It's not about speed; it's about *open*. And, the T-Mobile move could tear the cellular industry apart. It will be interesting to watch. -a -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
