While at TV/COMM, I worked with another Sr. Engineering Tech. and he
smoked *a lot*. He would take multiple smoke breaks during the day. One
day we - the technicians and assemblers that worked in production -
decided to so something about it.

Whenever someone saw him walk out for a smoke break, the observer would
notify the rest of us. We would follow him out and we'd all take a
"smoke" break too. So here we were, half-a-dozen or more people all
taking several breaks per day, with only one of us smoking.

It took about two days before the manager asked what we were doing. The
answer was a unanimous and "Taking a smoke break." The next day the
official word came out from HR about the two break and one lunch policy.

Boy was that one guy pissed. :D
